Hey guys!

I purchased the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder off Strawberrynet and I feel that this products warrants a review!

My colour is Natural Beige and originally I was a little concerned with the faze of 'mineral powders'. However this really lived up to its expectations and cost.

The colour has a lot of coverage and gives that natural make up look without looking too 'made up'. When applying the powder I used the MAC kabuki brush which worked really well and buffed it into the skin. I personally feel that Laura Mercier should include a small brush with the powder likr msny other mineral powder brands do.

Natural Beige is a nice colour. I vary from NW20 - NW25 in MAC foundations. I think that Natural Beige is more on the NW20 level, but with a bit of Laguna bronzer in summer it will be perfect.

If you are looking into the Laura Mercier Mineral Poweder I would strongly recommend it. I purchased the loose powder but would be interested in the pressed powder too.

A tad late… But I’m sure I can be forgiven

One of my favourite tags that goes around on blogspot along with youtube is the monthly favourites, along with ‘whats in my bag tag’ its kind of guilty pleasure

Strawberry Net.
I have always have been slightly intrigued by the whole ‘web shopping’ mainly because its so hard to tell what is legit. I’d kept an eye out on strawberry net for a couple years and they would go through stages where they had great products and then didn’t. The reviews were very mixed with people saying they never received the goods to others saying it was a god send. One of the shit things about Australia is the price we pay for cosmetics (double American prices) so I took a chance and ordered a couple things on strawberry net. I haven’t received anything yet ‘fingers crossed’ but it does take a couple days to arrive. The products were quite cheaper and worth the try plus you got a free lipstick for being a new customer. So far their correspondence has been good, they send it via registered post and it was free shipping. I will defiantly keep you posted about the outcome

Priceless by Nicole Richie.
Nicole released a second book and it is great. It is about a young privileged girl in New York who’s father is arrested for fraud. She is then forced to live a completely different lifestyle and make her own way. I really love this book. It is really easy to read. For ages I have really liked Nicole Richie, I have a couple pieces of her jewellery but I have to admit I was a little hesitant when it comes to her quality of ready material. However it passed with flying colours and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a light read

Iphone.
About a year behind everyone else joining the iphone craze but I finally did back in August. A couple words come to mind- ‘where have you been all my life???’ It is great. However it isn’t the iphone4 because I really liked the 3GS in white… and I am inlove with all the applications you can download. There were some people who had lots of problems with the iphones but mine has been great so far, the only thing is that the battery only lasts one day but who cares when it does so much!

Laura Mercier
The Laura Mercier Oil Free tinted moisturiser is fantastic. The weather has been warming up quite a bit in the last few weeks and I’ve found myself reaching for products that are more likely to make me look glowy and not so made up. I also ordered the Mineral Foundation from Laura Mercier so I’m very excited to try it and give my review

Redkin Blonde Glow
LOVE LOVE LOVE! This shampoo and conditioner has been great to my hair. It doesn’t feel as brittle, has a nice shine to it and the ends feel a lot healthier. ‘thumbs up’

IKEA
For the last couple weeks I have been starting to gather goods for my new room. There have been a couple re-arrangements in our house and I’m now moving into a bigger room with more cupboard space haha. I have a couple nice expensive things which I have saved for but for many little things like picture frames, storage solutions, and bed side table, Ikea has been great. I went on a little shopping spree last week and purchased some items. When its all done and completely I’m going to do a little room tour!

Make up
Laguna Bronzer
Dior Show Mascara
MAC eye kohl in black

Jewellery This month I haven’t taken off my Tiffany and Co key necklace, diamond band and David Yurman ring

Thanks so much guys! I tag everyone!

Wicked the Musical

WICKED!

I think I probably was a little bit behind the time with this one but I saw Wicked the musical last week in Sydney and it was AMAZING!

When it first came out in Melbourne I heard some really good reviews and was interested in seeing it but things came up and I never got around to it. But my best friend & I went and saw it and just feel in love. Its hilarious and the costumes are fantastic.

My favourite character is Glinda (the good witch). She is adorable and funny. My favourite bit is when she sings a song called ‘popular’… YOUTUBE IT!!!!!

As always I got a little sucked into buying over priced merchandise haha.

Wicked is heading up to Queensland next so if you live up there I defiantly recommend you go and see it.

Small Haul

Hello lovelies

So I’m very excited because I did a little shopping trip yesterday.

I was getting low on some products and also picked up a couple that caught my eye.

Redkin Blonde Glow Shampoo & Conditioner.
During my last 3 trips to the hair dressers I have been lightening my hair from medium brown to blonde.. It is such a long process because I don’t want my hair to be completely shot by bleach and chemicals all at once, so I’ve been in search of some really good hair products that are moisturising and repairing but not heavy because my hair is very fine and oily. I was using the Clear Moisture and the Intense Renewal by Redkin which I thought was great but when I was getting low this week I decided to try the Blonde Glow by Redkin.
The smell is quite nice, it has a slight citrus scent but really nice and clean smelling.

MAC Nail polish in Nightfall.
This is one product I didn’t need anymore of: NAIL POLISH! But as a nailpolish-a-holic I felt that there was just that last colour that I really needed. I really am in love with this colour. It is more of a metallic gun metal gray than a ‘glitter’. I think it looks really nice on and gives the typical black nail polish a bit of a break. On top of my nail polishes I always use the Revlon Top Coat.

Chanel Lip Gloss- Brillant Levres 697
I can not tell you enough how amazingly pretty and gorgeous this colour is and the picture definantly doesn’t do it any justice! It’s a really sheer peach/orange with a subtle gold fleck through out. Its really beautiful and even though in Australia Chanel lip gloss is $43.00 it was worth it every penny.

Revlon Lipstick- Soft Nude
I have tried MAC myth and it completely washed me out and made me look dead regardless of how lightly I put it on. But when I was walking through the beauty area I saw that Revlon were advertising some new lipsticks so I decided to give the Soft nude a go and its great. It has more of a pink tinge along with a bit more body to the lipstick. I don’t need to put any gloss over it and it looks really nice. Only downfall is the smell.. tiny bit yuck but I guess if you find a really good product then you can get over that fact.

Redkin Guts 10
Since following Allthatglitters21 and a couple other people on youtube they have posted reviews on the Redkin Guts 10. It’s a volume spray foam that apparently helps with the oiliness in hair throughout the day. I’m really interested in trying it and defiantly will have a review for you.

I’m going to try all of these products out over the next couple days and give you a review on each thing along with pictures!

Hey Guys!

So I came across this tag and thought it had some pretty good questions.. So this is my version and I tag everybody :D

1. Do you apply your foundation with a brush, sponge, or fingers?
I use a stippling brush all the time. I used to use my fingers because I felt that it melted the product into the skin better but since using a stippling brush I found heaven. I love the way it really buffs the foundation into the skin.

2. Do you apply your eyeshadow from light to dark? or dark to light?Light to dark

3. Do you prime your eyes?Usually I use one of the MAC paintpots in painterly.

4. Concealer first, or after foundation?
I don’t use concealer on a daily basis but if I’m heading out I will use it prior to my foundation.

5. Go for manicures, or manicure yourself? If I could go and get manicures on a weekly basis I defiantly would! But I change my nail polish a couple times a week so it’s usually a manicure at home..

6. Exfoliate lips, face or both?Face.

7. On average, how long does it take you to do your makeup?About 15-30 minutes.

8. Do you wear makeup everyday and everywhere?Weekdays I wear makeup but on the weekend I try and have one day where I don’t wear makeup.

9. What release are you most excited about? (Makeup)MAC's Venomous Villains collection

10. What's your weakness? Shoes, purses, clothes, jewelry, eyeshadow, lipstick or other?Purses and lipstick

11. Do you whiten your teeth?I use a whitening toothpaste.

12. Wax eyebrows, or pluck?Waxy Waxy

13. What do you use to contour?I use a matte brown bronzer or blush.

14. False lashes, or natural?Natural with loads of mascara.

15. Favorite makeup brand?
Very hard question. MAC Cosmetics is great and has some amazing products but so does NARS, Laura Mercier and Smashbox.

16. Liquid eyeliner, pencil or gel?Depends on the occasion.

17. Lipstick, lipgloss or chapstick?Lipgloss

18. Pigments, pressed or cream eyeshadow?Pressed eyeshadow.

19. If you had to wear only one thing, excluding foundation; what would it be?Mascara

20. Favorite color? In general- Black, white & pink. Make up: Browns along with purples.

21. Favorite color combination?Unable to answer at the moment haha it hurts my brain to go through the options. Haha

22. Natural? or Dramatic? (Eye Makeup)Natural

23. Do you care more for quality or name brand?Probably quality

24. Do you enjoy using face masks? If so which ones
At the moment I enjoy using a Dermalogica face mask or a Natio hydrating mask..

25. What is your current addiction? (example: lipsticks, eyeshadows, earrings..)Blush.

Hey!

Well this is my first post *dances* and I’m really excited to get this up and running.

My name is Paige, I’m 21 and from Australia. I love make up, clothes, accessories, handbags, gossip magazines and good books. I have blonde hair (at the moment), blue eyes and semi light skin.. (wow I sound original haha) My current job is as a Project Assistant within a large conferencing/events company in the city.

Basically I wanted to start this blog because when I want to purchase a new product I try to research it first and read what other peoples experiences are what better way to do it then publish honest opinions of my own after I have tried it?

Anywho, I really hope you subscribe to my blog and enjoy all the posts J
